About 200 students marched and rallied to get the military out of UC Santa Cruz. Students rallied outside McHenry Library before marching to the Job Fair.
On March 1, 2006, students demonstrated at the base of UC Santa Cruz to demand that the UC comply with their "Code of Conduct" Policy adapted in 1999 to only sell products produced under safe and fair working conditions.

A rally was held at UCSC to raise awareness about the sweatshop-made uniforms purchased for dinning hall workers and the sweatshop-made UCSC apparel.
